About the counselling programme

The counselling programme is a seven month therapeutic programme designed to support and challenge men ceasing their violent and/or abusive behaviours. While Everyman Project works with all forms of male violence and abusiveness, the vast majority of men we see come as a result of being violent to their partners.

Every client initially attends an assessment session to determine his suitability for the programme.

Following the assessment, each man attends thirteen weekly one-to-one counselling sessions with a male counsellor, followed by sixteen weekly group counselling sessions.

How much will I have to pay?
The fee for the assessment session is £35.00, low-waged £25.00, £15.00 concessions). The fee for the 29 succeeding counselling sessions will be individually negotiated, based on your income. The minimum concessionary fee is £10.00 per counselling session; the maximum fee is £50.00 per session.(The fees for agency referrals are £50.00 for the assessment and £50.00 per counselling session.)

When and Where are the counselling sessions?
The sessions are provided either evenings or daytimes, in London at Archway N19
